Resolution

WHEREAS, the Exterior Insulation and Finish System (EIFS) cladding on the South elevation of the Law and Justice building is failing due to water intrusion of the life of the building; and

WHEREAS, the damage has been inspected by insurance adjuster and building envelope consultants and they concur that the cladding on the south elevation of the building should be replaced to preserve the integrity of the building envelope; and

WHEREAS, plans and specifications for said replacement have been prepared by KMB Architects replace the EIFS cladding on the south elevation and repaint the entire EIFS portion of the "Annex Addition".

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners that the County issue a call for bids to replace EIFS Cladding on Lewis County Law and Justice Center; and

NOW THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Capital Facilities Manager be instructed to prepare bid documents and issue same for the above project.
