APPOINT INAUGURAL MEMBERS OF THE SHORT TERM RENTAL ADVISORY GROUP
WHEREAS, pursuant to RCW 36.70.080 and Lewis County Code (LCC) 2.11.030 and 2.50.050, the Board of County Commissioners has the authority to create advisory groups and to appoint or confirm members to ensure proper representation and effective operation; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners established the Short Term Rental Advisory Group via Resolution 25-347 and amended the bylaws to clarify the composition of the members via Resolution 26-084; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Lewis County Codes 2.11.030(3) and 2.50.050, the Lewis County Planning Commission reviewed all applicants, deliberated and voted to provide a transmittal letter (Exhibit A) recommending the following individuals to fill the positions on the Short-Term Rental Advisory Group for the following staggered terms, with subsequent terms for each position extending four years thereafter:

; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has reviewed the recommended appointments and finds confirmation of appointments is in the best interest of the public health, safety and welfare of Lewis County.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the BOCC hereby appoints the the following - as set forth in Exhibit A - to serve as members of the Short Term Rental Advisory Group for the terms listed below, with subsequent terms for each position extending four years thereafter:
