CALL FOR BIDS FOR THE SOUTHWEST WASHINGTON FAIRGROUNDS AND PARK WATERLINE REHABILITATION PROJECT, #31-2318
WHEREAS, the water system at the Southwest Washington Fairgrounds and Park is developing leaks as it ages and is in need of rehabilitation; and
WHEREAS, Lewis County has awarded $1,000,000 in American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding and the City of Centralia has awarded $250,000 in ARPA funds toward this project; and
WHEREAS, plans and specifications has been prepared by TerraVista NW, LLC and appear to meet the requirements of the system.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) hereby instructs the Parks and Recreation Administrator to prepare and issue a Call for Bids and to collect and evaluate responses; and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that bids must be submitted electronically through OpenGov (https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/lewiscountywa) by 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 12, 2024, and the BOCC Clerk of Board is instructed to proceed with all appropriate and necessary notifications to advertise for said purpose.
