Resolution

WHEREAS, Lewis County is renovating a building to house Community Development and Environmental Health offices; and

WHEREAS, ready-to-assemble (RTA) cabinetry kits are necessary to complete the work. The total cost is estimated to be less than $25,000; and

WHEREAS, RCW Chapter 39.04 and the Lewis County Procurement Policy require a formal competitive bid process to satisfy the procurement requirements when the County elects not to utilize the MRSC Small Works Roster; and

WHEREAS, bids must be submitted through the online OpenGov portal (sign up at https://procurement.opengov.com/signup and view and complete the bid packet at https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/lewiscountywa). Bids are due by 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 23, 2024, and will be opened through the OpenGov portal at or after 1:30 p.m. that same day.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Facilities Administrator is instructed to issue a call for bids for the Ready-To-Assemble (RTA) Cabinetry Kits; and the BOCC Clerk of Board is instructed to proceed with all appropriate and necessary notifications to advertise for said purpose.
