Summary:Authorizing the Director of Information Technology Services to execute a purchase order with Justice AV Solutions (JAVS) utilizing sole source procurement.
Lewis County Superior Court has a need to install a digital court reporting solution to function and meet the requirements in lieu of a court reporter and be the sole source of records. There is a nationwide problem with lack of applicants for hiring Court Reporters.
Superior Court currently uses JAVS (Justice AV Solutions) in one Courtroom and for mobile recording. In order to maintain compatibility to existing County equipment, systems, and services, JAVS is the required vendor to maintain these standards and reliability needed for the Courts to function properly. Please see the "Sole Source" justification attachment attached to this item.
