Summary:

Lewis County is requesting a statement of qualifications from licensed security firms interested in providing professional security services for the Lewis County Law and Justice Center. The selected firm for this contract will be expected to perform services related to unarmed monitoring of the daily activity at the Lewis County Law and Justice Center in Chehalis Washington, for safety and compliance.

WHEREAS, the Lewis County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) has identified a need to explore and compare security services for the Lewis County Law and Justice Center; and

WHEREAS, Lewis County is seeking proposals from qualified security firms; and

WHEREAS, publication to solicit for professional services is needed to contract for security services.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners that the County Safety Officer is instructed to develop an RFQ; and the Clerk of the Lewis County BOCC is instructed to proceed with all appropriate and necessary notifications to advertise for said purpose.
