WHEREAS, the Fire Alarm Control panel and associated equipment servicing the Lewis County Law and Justice Center is at capacity and is no longer supported by the manufacturer; and

WHEREAS, the system has been judged to be at the end of its useful life and is a critical component to the continued operation of the facility; and

WHEREAS, plans and specifications have been created to provide a replacement of the outdated system by Lewis County Facilities and Richmond Engineering.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that a Call for Bids be issued for the Replacement of the L&J Fire Alarm Replacement Project; and

NOW THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Internal Services Department and Facilities Division prepare and issue bid documents for the above mentioned project.
