Summary:This resolution will issue a call for bids for the Tucker Road Improvements Project, Federal Aid Project No. STPR-F212(001), Federal Contract No. TA-6968, F.A. Agreement No. LA 9901, County Road Project No. 2189-C.
Bids for this proposal shall be submitted to the Clerk of the BOCC (351 N.W. North Street, Room 210, CMS-01, Chehalis, WA 98532) by or before 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 18, 2020, and will be opened on or after 12:30 p.m. on August 18, 2020, subject to official proposal addenda that establishes an alternate bid due date or opening time.

CALL FOR BIDS FOR THE TUCKER ROAD IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT, FEDERAL AID PROJECT NO. STPR-F212(001), FEDERAL CONTRACT NO. TA-6968, F.A. AGREEMENT NO. LA 9901, COUNTY ROAD PROJECT NO. 2189-C.
WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) wishes to improve Tucker Road by repairing pavement, planing bituminous pavement, cleaning, sweeping, applying tack coat, paving with reinforced fiber HMA, traffic control, all in accordance with the Contract Plans, Contract Provisions, and the Standard Specifications; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 11-437, construction projects exceeding a certain monetary threshold must be competitively bid; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 20-103, the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) adopted the 2020 Standard Specifications for Road, Bridge, and Municipal Construction and this proposal shall be performed by contract in accordance with these specifications.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Department of Public Works is instructed to issue a Call for Bids and Contract Specifications for Tucker Road Improvements Project, Federal Aid Project No. STPR-F212(001), Federal Contract No. TA-6968, F.A. Agreement No. LA 9901, County Road Project No. 2189-C. Bids for this proposal shall be submitted to the Clerk of the BOCC (351 N.W. North Street, Room 210, CMS-01, Chehalis, WA 98532) by or before 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 18, 2020, and will be opened on or after 12:30 p.m. on August 18, 2020, subject to official proposal addenda that establishes an alternate bid due date or opening time.
