Summary:

Lewis County plans to make shoulder repairs and install guardrail on Meade Hill Road between milepost 0.64 and 0.92. It will be necessary to close Meade Hill Road to all through traffic during this period. Meade Hill Road will remain open for local access from either end up to but not  beyond the point of closure. This resolution would, pursuant to RCW 47.48.010 and .020, close Meade Hill Road to all through traffic between US Highway 12 and Anderson Road in Sections 13 and 14, Township 12 North, Range 5 East, W.M. Beginning June 8, 2020 and ending July 13, 2020.

Resolution

WHEREAS, RCW 47.48.010 gives authority to the county legislative authority to close roads for a period of time; and

WHEREAS, it is necessary for Lewis County to make shoulder repairs and install guardrail on Meade Hill Road between milepost 0.64 and 0.92; and

WHEREAS, it will be necessary to close Meade Hill Road between US Highway 12 and Anderson Road to all through traffic during the period of such project work; and

WHEREAS, Meade Hill Road will remain open for local access from either end up to but not beyond the point of closure and other county roads are available for detour.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that, pursuant to RCW 47.48.010 and .020, beginning June 8, 2020 and ending July 13, 2020, Meade Hill Road between US Highway 12 and Anderson Road in Sections 13 and 14, Township 12 North, Range 5 East, W.M., shall be closed to all through traffic.
