Resolution

WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 19-339, the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) adopted the 2020-2025 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP); and

WHEREAS, Lewis County's 2020 Countywide Base Stabilization Project, CRP 2189A is listed on the 2020-2025 TIP; and

WHEREAS, the BOCC wishes to improve various roads in Lewis County by pulverization and cement stabilization, all in accordance with the Contract Plans, Contract Provisions, and the Standard Specifications; and

WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 20-103, the BOCC adopted the 2020 Standard Specifications for Road, Bridge, and Municipal Construction and this proposal shall be performed by contract in accordance with these specifications.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Department of Public Works is instructed to issue a call for bids and contract specifications for the 2020 Countywide Base Stabilization Project, CRP 2189A. Bids for this proposal shall be submitted to the Clerk of the BOCC (351 N.W. North Street, Room 210, CMS-01, Chehalis, Washington 98532) by or before 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 5, 2020, subject to official proposal addenda that establishes an alternate bid due date or opening time.
