Summary:

A call for bids for the Carr Road MP 0.26 to MP 0.28 Slide Repair Project, 90-21F782700026, was made on June 6, 2026. The project was advertised in the Chronicle, the Seattle Daily Journal of Commerce and the OMWBE website. Public Works received five bids for this project on June 25, 2026.  The engineer's estimate was $507,934.74.

Public Works recommends awarding this project to the lowest responsive bidder, NW Construction General Contracting, Inc., Battle Ground, WA.

Resolution

WHEREAS, Lewis County issued a call for bids for the Carr Road MP 0.26 to MP 0.28 Slide Repair Project, 90-21F782700026 on June 6, 2026; and

WHEREAS, bid quotations were received on June 25, 2026, as follows:

WHEREAS, NW Construction General Contracting Inc. provided the lowest responsive bid of $358,988.61 for the Carr Road MP 0.26 to MP 0.28 Slide Repair Project, 90-21F782700026.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the contract for the Carr Road MP 0.26 to MP 0.28 Slide Repair Project, 90-21F782700026, shall be awarded to NW Construction General Contracting Inc. in the amount of $358,988.61, funded by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Public Assistance Program. Upon the execution of a contract acceptable to the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC), the County Engineer is authorized to sign on behalf of the BOCC.
