WHEREAS, Lewis County is the recipient of Grant No. FY22-90006-001, through the Department of Archeology and Historic Preservation; and

WHEREAS, the Legislature has re-appropriated funding for the 2025-2027 grant cycle in the 2026 Capital Budget, allowing for an extension of the grant period; and

WHEREAS, an Amendment D to this Grant has been prepared to extend the grant period for a period of one year until June 30, 2027, and revise the scope of the original contract to align with necessary repairs, and staff recommends that the County approve this extension.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners approves this contract amendment and authorizes the Chair - or, in her absence, the Vice Chair - to sign said amendment on behalf of the Board.
