WHEREAS, Lewis County assumed ownership of parcel No. 021650002002 on June 14, 2006; and

WHEREAS, parcel No. 021650002002, located on 2025 NE Kresky Ave, Chehalis Ave., consists of real property and improvements; and

WHEREAS, the Lewis County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) determined that the property is no longer needed to support the county's operation and declared it as surplus via Resolution 25-173 on June 24, 2025; and

WHEREAS, the BOCC has determined that accepting the proposal of $1,200,000 would be the highest and best use of parcel No. 021650002002, advantageous to the county, and in the best interest of the public.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the BOCC hereby accepts the aforesaid offer from Kresky LLC in the amount of $1,200,000 for the purchase of parcel No. 021650002002; and

NOW THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the BOCC authorizes the closing of the sale, directs the Chair of the BOCC to sign the Statutory Warranty Deed in the form of the attached Exhibit A, and directs the Chair of the BOCC or County Manager to sign any closing documents necessary to close and transfer title to Kresky LLC.
