WHEREAS, the Lewis County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) adopted Chapter 2.25 of Lewis County Code in 1996 pursuant to RCW 58.17.330, and the Hearing Examiner duties include conducting administrative appeals over which the Hearing Examiner has jurisdiction; and

WHEREAS, publication of notice and a hearing before the Board of County Commissioners is required in order to receive public testimony and take formal action on amendments to section 2.25.130, Appeals with the examiner, LCC.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that a hearing before the Board of County Commissioners is hereby scheduled at or after 10 a.m. on March 24, 2026, to receive testimony on Ordinance 1373, which would amend Chapter 2.25, Hearing Examiner, of Lewis County Code; and

NOW THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the Board of County Commissioners is hereby instructed to proceed with all appropriate and necessary notifications, postings and publications for the changes as required by law.
