Resolution

WHEREAS, Lewis County Code 12.20 and RCW 36.55 require that all utility installations in county road rights of way be authorized by a franchise from Lewis County; and

WHEREAS, an application for a franchise has been received by the Board of County Commissioners from Cardinal FG Company to construct, operate and maintain water facilities in Lewis County road rights of way; and

WHEREAS, a hearing was set for December 23, 2025, by Resolution No. 25-344, dated December 2, 2025, all required notices were given to the public, and the BOCC conducted the hearing on December 23, 2025.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED the Board of County Commissioners approves the Resolution to grant a franchise to Cardinal FG Company to construct, operate, and maintain water facilities in Lewis County road rights of way; approves the attached nonexclusive franchise agreement; and authorizes the BOCC to sign the agreement.
