Resolution
AMENDING A GRANT FROM THE WASHINGTON STATE DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE FOR THE REMODEL OF THE SOUTHWEST WASHINGTON FAIRGROUNDS MAIN RESTROOMS
WHEREAS, the Lewis County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) accepted a grant from the Washington State Department of Agriculture (WSDA) Fairs Program, Capital Project Grant for remodeling the main restrooms on the Southwest Washington Fairgrounds via Resolution 20-033 on January 27, 2020; and
WHEREAS, the WSDA has requested the BOCC amend the grant to include the county matching funds ; and
WHEREAS, Lewis County will provide matching funds in the form of County Labor and County Funds equalling $40,500; and
WHEREAS, it appears to be in the best public interest to authorize the execution of said Resolution to accept the offer in the amount of $40,500 from the Department of Agriculture with the amended matching funds from the County.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the BOCC authorizes the Chief of Internal Services to sign on its behalf .
