WHEREAS, Lewis County entered into Contract No. 25-92601-029 with the Washington State Department of Commerce to receive $571,200 in grant funding for LED lighting upgrades at the Lewis County Jail in Chehalis; and

WHEREAS, the Department of Commerce has reappropriated funds under the Energy Efficiency Retrofits Program for the 2025-2027 biennium; and

WHEREAS, Amendment A to Contract No. 25-92601-029 extends the period of performance from June 30, 2025, to November 30, 2025; and

WHEREAS, there are no changes to the project scope, budget, or work plan; and

WHEREAS, this amendment was executed by the County Manager in accordance with grant procedures.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that Amendment A to Contract No. 25-92601-029 is hereby ratified by the Board of County Commissioners.
