Summary:

Lewis County plans to complete a bridge scour repair project at Sargent Road MP 1.33. It will be necessary to close Sargent Road to all through traffic during this period. Sargent Road will remain open for local access from either end up to but not beyond the point of closure at MP 1.33. This resolution would, pursuant to RCW 47.48.010 and .020, close Sargent Road between Minkler Road and N Military Road in Sections 14 and 23, Township 12 North, Range 2 West, W.M., beginning July 1, 2025 and ending October 30, 2025.

Resolution

WHEREAS, RCW 47.48.010 gives authority to the county legislative authority to close roads for a period of time; and

WHEREAS, it is necessary for Lewis County to complete a bridge scour repair project on Sargent Road at MP 1.33; and

WHEREAS, it will be necessary to close Sargent Road between Minkler Road and N Military Road to all through traffic during the period of such work; and

WHEREAS, Sargent Road will remain open for local access from either end up to but not beyond the point of closure at MP 1.33, and other county roads are available for detour.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that, pursuant to RCW 47.48.010 and .020, beginning July 1, 2025, and ending October 30, 2025, Sargent Road between Minkler Road and N Military Road in Sections 14 and 23, Township 12 North, Range 2 West, W.M., shall be closed to all through traffic.
