Summary:

The Carr Road Slide Repair project, which is funded by the FEMA Public Assistance Program, requires additional right of way for repair of the road.  The project will require additional right of way from one property owner.  This resolution instructs the County Engineer to acquire the necessary right of way from one property owner along Carr Road for the project.

Resolution

WHEREAS, repair of Carr Road is needed at MP 0.26 to MP 0.28 due to a slide; and

WHEREAS, the proposed work will require fee acquisition and a temporary easement from an adjoining owner; and

WHEREAS, this project is priority number 4 within the adopted and amended 2024-2029 Six-Year Transportation Improvement Program; and

WHEREAS, this project is a necessary improvement and will benefit the public; and

WHEREAS, this resolution instructs the County Engineer to acquire additional right of way as shown on the attached Exhibit from one property owner along Carr Road.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the County Engineer is instructed to acquire all right of way necessary for the repair of Carr Road in Section 15, Township 12N, Range 8 East W.M., and directs that the acquisition shall be in accordance with adopted procedures per Resolution 20-149.
