Summary:A call for bids for the King Road MP 12.26 Bridge Scour Repair, F.A. BHOS-2021(071), CRP 2159M, was made on April 3, 2025. This contract provides for the improvement of King Road MP 12.26 Bridge Scour, by performing temporary BMPs, stream diversion, structure excavation, concrete slope protection (precast concrete units), streambed gravel, hydroseeding and other work, all in accordance with the contract plans, the contract provisions, and Standard Specifications. The project was advertised in the East County Journal, the Seattle Daily Journal of Commerce, the OpenGov website, and the OMWBE website. Public Works received four bids for this project on April 3, 2025.
Public Works recommends awarding this project to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder, Rognlin's Inc. out of Aberdeen, WA.

WHEREAS, a call for bids was issued April 3, 2025, for the King Road MP 12.26 Bridge Scour, F.A. BHOS-2021(071), CRP 2159M; and
WHEREAS, bid quotations from the contractors are as follows:

WHEREAS, Rognlin's Inc. provided the lowest responsive bid.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the contract for the King Road MP 12.26 Bridge Scour shall be awarded to Rognlin's Inc. in the amount of $709,219.50. The County Engineer is authorized to sign on behalf of the BOCC.
