Summary:

The Rosebrook Road Slide Repair project, which is funded by the FEMA Public Assistance Program, requires additional right of way for repair of the road from two property owners. This resolution instructs the County Engineer to acquire the necessary right of way from two property owners along Rosebrook Road for the project.

Resolution

WHEREAS, repair of Rosebrook Road is needed at MP 0.49 to 0.56 due to a slide; and

WHEREAS, the proposed work will require acquisition from two adjoining property owners; and

WHEREAS, this project is priority number 4 within the adopted and amended 2025-2030 Six-Year Transportation Improvement Plan (TIP); and

WHEREAS, this project is a necessary repair and will benefit the public; and

WHEREAS, this resolution instructs the County Engineer to acquire additional right of way as shown on the attached Exhibit from two property owners along Rosebrook Road.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) herby instructs the County Engineer to acquire all right of way necessary for the repair of Rosebrook Road in Section 20, Township 13N, Range 1 West, W.M., and directs that the acquisition shall be in accordance with adopted procedures per Resolution 20-149.
