Resolution
THE EXTENDED CLOSURE OF OPPELT ROAD TO ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC BETWEEN MILEPOST 0.00 TO MILEPOST 1.72
WHEREAS, RCW 47.48.010 provides that the county legislative authority may close roads for a period of time during construction; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to realign Centralia Alpha Road in conjunction with County Road Project No. 2084; and
WHEREAS, it will be necessary to close Oppelt Road between Milepost 0.00 to Milepost 1.72 during construction; and
WHEREAS, Oppelt Road will remain open for local access up to, but not between the points of closure, and alternate routes will be available to bypass the closure area.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that pursuant to RCW 47.48.010 and .020, beginning April 1, 2025 and ending before July 31, 2025, Oppelt Road between MP 0.00 and MP 1.72 shall be closed to all through traffic.
