AWARD ON-CALL CRITICAL AREA REVIEW SERVICES CONTRACT TO RAEDEKE ASSOCIATES AND AUTHORIZE DIRECTOR OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT TO SIGN
WHEREAS, Lewis County Department of Community Development is responsible for reviewing permit applications against the applicable critical areas ordinance regulations and determining compliance; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Community Development requires outside expertise in the fields of wetland delineations and streams assessments to assist in reviewing critical area reports; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Community Development issued notice for requests for proposal for on-call critical area review services on December 13, 2024, with proposals due on January 24, 2025; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Community Development received four proposals:

; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Community Development has determined that Raedeke Associates Inc. best meets the criteria as listed in the request for proposal and provides the lowest overall rate per review.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Lewis County Board of County Commissioners finds it in public best interest to award the on-call critical areas review contract to Raedeke Associates Inc. and authorizes Mindy Brooks, Director of Community Development, to sign the contract on behalf of Lewis County.
