Summary:

A call for bids for the 2025 Base Stabilization Project, Bunker Creek Road, CRP 2209, was made on December 18, 2024. The project was advertised in the East County Journal, the Seattle Daily Journal of Commerce, the OpenGov website, and the OMWBE website. Public Works received one responsive bid for this project on January 16, 2025. West Coast Soil Solutions provided the lowest responsive bid of $79,620.20. The Engineer's Estimate for this project is $69,717.00 .

Public Works recommends awarding this project to the lowest responsive bidder, West Coast Soil Solutions, Battleground, WA.

Resolution

WHEREAS, a call for bids was issued December 18, 2024, for the 2025 Base Stabilization Project, Bunker Creek Road, CRP 2209; and

WHEREAS, bid quotations have been submitted from the contractors as follows:

WHEREAS, West Coast Soil Solutions, Battleground, WA, provided the lowest responsive bid of $79,620.20.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the contract for the 2025 Base Stabilization Project, Bunker Creek Road, CRP 2209, shall be awarded to West Coast Soil Solutions in the amount of $79,620.20 upon the execution of a contract acceptable to the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC). Upon presentation of such a contract, the County Engineer is authorized to sign on behalf of the BOCC.
