Tax parcel 017028003003 is a 0.24 acre parcel, located off Taylor Road, Chehalis.  This resolution would authorize the sale of the parcel at the amount of unpaid taxes and miscellaneous Treasurer's fees.

Resolution

WHEREAS, the following described tax title property (Parcel number 017028003003) was conveyed to Lewis County by the County Treasurer following an unsuccessful attempt to sell the property at public auction; and

WHEREAS, the amount of unpaid taxes is $2,504.38 and miscellaneous Treasurer fees. The County has received an offer to purchase the property for $2,810.50.  The County has received an additional offer from an adjacent landowner to purchase the property in the amount of $7,810.50.  Since the property is impractical to build upon due to size and shape, RCW 36.35.150(1) allows for the properties to be disposed of by private negotiations without a call for bids, providing that the final price is no less than the principal amount of unpaid taxes; and

WHEREAS, the subject parcel is located outside the city limits, according to the Public Works mapping system.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the aforesaid offer in the amount of $7,810.50 for property located off Taylor Road in Chehalis is accepted.
