Summary:

This proposal is to publish a Request for Proposals (RFP) for consulting firms with expertise in conducting review of streams assessments and wetland delineations. Lewis County is interested in entering into a professional services contract with one professional to provide on-call services to provide third party review of stream assessments and wetland reports submitted with permit applications related to proposed development.  Proposals will be due in OpenGov no later than 5:00PM on January 24, 2025.

Resolution

WHEREAS, Lewis County is hiring on-call professional services to provide third party review of stream assessments and wetland reports submitted with permit applications related to proposed development; and

WHEREAS, Lewis County Department of Community Development does not have the resources to review all stream assessments and wetland delineations and requires supplemental technical expertise; and

WHEREAS, Proposals must be submitted through OpenGov (https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/lewiscountywa) no later than 5 p.m. January 24, 2025.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Community Development Director is instructed to prepare an RFP and create a selection committee to evaluate submittals and negotiate a contract with a qualified firm; and

NOW THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED the Clerk of the BOCC is directed to proceed with all appropriate and necessary notifications, postings and publications.
