Resolution

WHEREAS, in accordance with RCW Chapter 36.40, there is a need to hold public hearings on the Budget for 2025; and

WHEREAS, notice is hereby given that the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) will meet at or after 10 a.m. Monday, December 2, 2024, at the Lewis County Courthouse for a public hearing at which any taxpayer may appear and be heard for or against any part of the 2025 Budget; and

WHEREAS, notice is also given the BOCC will meet at or after 10 a.m. December 2, 2024, to fix the amount of the levies upon property in the county for 2025.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED the BOCC will meet at or after 10 a.m. Monday, December 2, 2024, at the Lewis County Courthouse to hold a public hearing on the Lewis County Budget for 2025 and a second hearing to fix the amount of the levies upon property in the county for 2025.

DONE IN OPEN SESSION this 5th day of November, 2024, the Clerk of the BOCC is hereby instructed to proceed with all necessary notifications, posting and publication
