WHEREAS, from time to time Lewis County has real property that is no longer needed to support the county's operations; and

WHEREAS, Lewis County Code, Chapter 3.30, Management and Disposition of Property requires that the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) declare such property surplus prior to disposal under said code; and

WHEREAS, the real property located at 242 NW Chehalis Ave in Chehalis, Wash., parcel number 003802-000-000 -- partial legal description: Section 32 Township 14N Range 02W N 22' LOT 6 EX W 10' BLK 23 BARRETTS ADD and the adjacent parking lot, parcel number 003804-001-000 -- has been recommended as surplus to the county's needs now and in the foreseeable future by the Capital Facilities Manager and the County Manager.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the real property identified above in Chehalis, Wash., is declared surplus by the BOCC; and

NOW THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Internal Services Department is authorized to dispose of the above property in compliance with Lewis County Code, Chapter 3.30, by listing said property for sale with a broker who deals in that kind of property and who has all licenses required by law, LCC 3.30.390(3).
