Summary:

This proposal is to publish a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for Hydraulic Engineering Services for the Sargent Road MP 1.33 Bridge Scour Project, CRP 2159N, Federal Aid Project No. BHOS-2021(070). The scope of services includes hydrologic, hydraulic and geomorphic analysis, PS&E, environmental permitting and design support. Firms desiring consideration shall electronically submit a complete proposal packet for Hydraulic Engineering Services in OpenGov no later than 2:00 PM March 8, 2024.

Resolution

WHEREAS, Lewis County Public Works is soliciting proposals for Hydraulic Engineering Services for the Sargent Road MP 1.33 Bridge Scour Project, CRP 2159N, Federal Aid Project No. BHOS-2021(070); and

WHEREAS, Lewis County Public Works does not have the resources to complete the Hydraulic Engineering Services for the project; and

WHEREAS, publication to solicit for professional services is needed to contract with a Hydraulic Engineering Services Consultant.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that Lewis County Public Works is instructed to advertise an Request for Qualifications (RFQ), evaluate responses, select a firm, and negotiate a contract for Hydraulic Engineering Services for the Sargent Road MP 1.33 Bridge Scour Project, CRP 2159N, Federal Aid Project No. BHOS-2021(070); and the Clerk of the Lewis County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) is instructed to proceed with all appropriate and necessary notifications, posting and publication as required by RCW 65.16.
