Resolution

WHEREAS, the Lewis County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) may appoint six representatives to the Lewis-Mason-Thurston Area Agency on Aging (LMTAAA) Advisory Council; and

WHEREAS, Lewis County's representatives can serve up to three consecutive two-year terms on the Advisory Council; and

WHEREAS, the BOCC appointed Carol Brock to the council via Resolution 23-068 and removed her from the council on Aug. 28, 2023, leaving a vacancy; and

WHEREAS, Greg Rohr of Toledo has expressed an interest in serving on the LMTAAA Advisory Council; and

WHEREAS, it is in the best public interest to appoint qualified individuals to the LMTAAA Advisory Council.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the (BOCC) hereby appoints Greg Rohr to the LMTAAA Advisory Council to fill the remainder of Carol Brock's term, which expires Dec. 31, 2024.
