Resolution

WHEREAS, RCW 36.81.121 requires the legislative authority of each county to prepare and, after a public hearing, adopt a TIP that includes among other things proposed road and bridge construction work consistent with County's comprehensive plan for the ensuing six calendar years, and that said program shall be adopted at any time prior to the adoption of the budget; and

WHEREAS, RCW 36.81.130 and WAC 136-16 require the legislative authority of each county to prepare and adopt an ACP that includes proposed road and bridge construction work for the ensuing calendar year conforming as nearly as practicable to the county's TIP; and

WHEREAS, on the 27th day of September 2023, the 2024 ACP was submitted to the office of the Lewis County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC), and the 2024-2029 Six-Year TIP was submitted on the 11th day of October 2023; and

WHEREAS, the 2024-2029 Six-Year TIP and 2024 ACP reports and all related materials have been reviewed by the BOCC and found appropriate for further proceedings.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the 21st day of November 2023, at or after the hour of 10:00 a.m. in the Commissioners' Hearing Room on the 2nd floor of the Historic Courthouse in Chehalis, Washington, has been fixed by the BOCC as the time and place for the hearing on the 2024-2029 Six-Year TIP and 2024 ACP, when and where all persons may appear and be heard upon these programs; and that the Clerk of the Board is hereby instructed to proceed with all necessary notifications, postings and publications.
