Resolution

WHEREAS, the Lewis County Transportation Improvement Plan includes the Centralia Alpha Road Improvements Project; and

WHEREAS, Lewis County is seeking coverage under the Washington State Department of Ecology's Construction Stormwater NPDES State Waste Discharge Permit; and

WHEREAS, Lewis County is required to publish a public notice to obtain coverage under the Washington State Department of Ecology's Construction Stormwater NPDES State Waste Discharge Permit; and

WHEREAS, Department of Ecology will accept written comments in order to consider and evaluate whether discharges from this project would cause a measurable change in receiving water quality.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners hereby issues a public notice that the Centralia Alpha Road Improvements Project requires coverage under the Washington State Department of Ecology's Construction Stormwater NPDES State Waste Discharge Permit, and the Clerk of the Board is instructed to proceed with all appropriate and necessary notifications, postings, and publications as required by law.
