Resolution

WHEREAS, in accordance of RCW 39.04.155, a call for bids for the Lewis County Howe
Road Rock Purchase was made on January 11, 2023; and

WHEREAS, bid quotations have been submitted on January 26, 2023, from contractors and hauling costs calculated as follows:

WHEREAS, Lewis County personnel evaluated the bids, including hauling costs and taxes, to determine the most advantageous bid to Lewis County; and

WHEREAS,  Winston Rock Quarry, LLC provided the most advantageous and responsive bid quote of $178,912.96, including taxes, for the Lewis County Howe Road Rock Purchase.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the contract for the Lewis County Howe Road Rock Purchase in Lewis County shall be awarded to Winston Rock Quarry, LLC in the amount of $178,912.96, including taxes, upon the execution of a contract acceptable to the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC). Upon presentation of such a contract, the Public Works Director is authorized to sign on behalf of the BOCC.
