Resolution
RATIFY AN INTERGOVERNMENTAL COOPERATIVE PURCHASING AGREEMENT BETWEEN LEWIS COUNTY AND THE STATE OF WASHINGTON, DEPARTMENT OF ENTERPRISE SERVICES
WHEREAS, pursuant to Legislative authority set forth in RCW 39.26.050(1), RCW 43.19.005(2), and/or the lnterlocal Cooperation Act (RCW 39.34), Washington State Department of Enterprise Services is authorized to enter into agreements with Washington local governmental agencies or entities; and
WHEREAS, the contract usage agreement functions as enterprise procurement solutions that are designed to enable eligible entities to purchase goods and/or services cost-effectively and efficiently; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has reviewed the State of Washington Intergovernmental Cooperative Purchasing Agreement, which enables Lewis County to utilize certain competitively solicited and awarded contracts developed and/or administered by Enterprise Services to purchase goods and/or services; and
WHEREAS, it appears to be in the best interest of Lewis County to authorize signature on said Intergovernmental Cooperative Purchasing Agreement.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners hereby authorizes the County Manager to sign the intergovernmental cooperative purchasing agreement effective January 23, 2023.
