APPROVE AND AUTHORIZE THE IT DIRECTOR TO SIGN A TERMS OF USE AGREEMENT FOR DARK FIBER INFRASTRUCTURE WITH PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT NO. 1
WHEREAS, Lewis County utilizes and pays for dark fiber provided by Lewis County PUD that is critical infrastructure for technology operations; and
WHEREAS, Lewis County PUD provided a 30 day notice to terminate its previous terms of use agreement; and
WHEREAS, Lewis County PUD has updated and provided a new terms of use agreement; and
WHEREAS, It is in the best interest of Lewis County to authorize the execution of said agreement.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the the Board of County Commissioners hereby authorizes the IT Director to sign the terms of use agreement with Public Utility District No. 1.
