WHEREAS, Ordinance 1337 was adopted by the Lewis County Board of County Commissioners on November 22, 2023; and

WHEREAS, the decision to reject the proposed Lewis County Comprehensive Plan map amendment for the parcels listed in Ordinance 1337 Exhibit A, Attachment 4, known as the Mineral Lake YMCA rezone, has been appealed by the YMCA of Greater Seattle; and

WHEREAS, no other appeals have been filed against Ordinance 1337; and

WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners finds that it is in the public interest to repeal and replace Ordinance 1337 to remove the Mineral Lake YMCA rezone.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that a public hearing before the BOCC is hereby scheduled for January 31, 2023, to receive testimony to amend Ordinance 1337 to remove the Mineral Lake YMCA rezone ; and

NOW THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the Board is hereby instructed to proceed with all appropriate and necessary notifications, postings and publications as required by law.
