Resolution

WHEREAS, the Lewis County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) has reviewed contract H02-0141-21 Amendment B with Housing Resource Center; and

WHEREAS, this contract was previously amended by the BOCC via Resolution 22-279 August 30, 2022; and

WHEREAS, the purpose of this amendment is to extend the HEN category end date from October 31, 2022, to June 30, 2023; and

WHEREAS, this amendment also adds $31,568.00 to the Permanent Supportive Housing Chronically Homeless Families (PSH CHF) and adds $311,342.68 to the Housing & Essential Needs (HEN) categories for a new contract total of $1,785,325.32; and

WHEREAS, it appears to be in the best public interest to authorize execution of said amendment.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that contract H02-0141-21 Amendment B between Lewis County and Housing Resource Center to extend the HEN category for a new contract duration from October 31, 2022, through June 30, 2023, and add additional funding of $342,910.68 for a new contract total of $1,785,325.32, is hereby approved, and the Director of Public Health and Social Services is authorized to sign the same.
