Summary:

This resolution will give notice that a Call for Bids has been issued for the Undercarriage Spray Wash Project, County Project No. 90-17F509100443C, FEMA Project No. DR-4309 PW 238. This contract is for the construction of the Undercarriage Spray Wash Project at five (5) Lewis County Maintenance Shops located in Area 1, Area 2, Area 3, Area 5, and Area 7. The Contractor shall construct the Undercarriage Spray Wash Units per the engineered building plans for each site. 

Sealed bids for the Undercarriage Spray Wash Project, County Project No. 90-17F509100443C, FEMA Project No. DR-4309 PW 238 shall be submitted to the Clerk of the Board of Lewis County Commissioners (351 N.W. North Street, Room 210, CMS-01, Chehalis, Washington 98532), by or before 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 7, 2020, and will be opened on or after 11:00 a.m. on January 7, 2020. Bids submitted after 11:00 a.m. on January 7, 2020, will not be considered for this project. Contract documents will be available for viewing on Lewis County’s website after the successful execution of the bid call.

Resolution

WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) wishes to install The Undercarriage Spray Wash Equipment at five Lewis County Maintenance Shops located in Area 1, Area 2, Area 3, Area 5 and Area 7 of Lewis County; and

WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 18-116, the BOCC adopted the 2018 Standard Specifications for Road, Bridge, and Municipal Construction and this project shall be performed by contract in accordance with these specifications.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Department of Public Works is instructed to issue a Call for Bids and Contract Specifications for The Undercarriage Spray Wash Project, County Project No. 90-17F509100443C, FEMA Project No. DR-4309 PW 238. Bids for this project shall be submitted to the Clerk of the Board of Lewis County Commissioners (351 N.W. North Street, Room 210, CMS-01, Chehalis, Washington 98532) by or before 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 7, 2020, and will be opened on or after 11:00 a.m. on January 7, 2020, subject to official project addenda that establishes an alternate bid due date or opening time.
