Summary:

The Little Hanaford Road Slide Repair project, that is funded by the FEMA Public Assistance Program, requires additional right of way for reconstruction of the road.  The project will require additional right of way from one property owner.  This resolution instructs the County Engineer to acquire the necessary right of way from one property owner along Little Hanaford Road for the project.  The acquisition shall be in accordance with adopted procedures per Resolution 20-149.

Resolution

WHEREAS, reconstruction of Little Hanaford Road is necessary due to a recent landslide; and

WHEREAS, the realignment of the road will require additional right of way from one adjacent property owner; and

WHEREAS, this project is a necessary improvement and will benefit the public; and

WHEREAS, this resolution instructs the County Engineer to acquire additional road right of way, as shown on the attached Exhibit, from one property owner along Little Hanaford Road for the project.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the County Road Engineer is instructed to acquire all necessary right of way and is authorized to sign documents necessary for the reconstruction of Little Hanaford Road in Section 12, Township 14 North, Range 2 West, W.M., and the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) directs that the acquisition be in accordance with adopted procedures as per Resolution 20-149.
