LISTING OF BIDS RECEIVED AND REJECTION OF ALL BIDS FOR THE CAMPUS PARKING LOT PROJECT #31-2005
WHEREAS, Lewis County is in the process of pursuing Capital Facilities Plan projects and renovations, and one of the projects listed is a Campus Parking Lot Improvement Project; and
WHEREAS, plans and specifications have been prepared for improvements to the Rainier Block parking lot, the Health Building and Star building parking lots and the Law and Justice (L&J) parking lot; and Lewis County issued a Call for Bids on May 24, 2022; and
WHEREAS, bids were received and opened on June 16, 2022, and the responses were as follows:

| Quigg Bros Inc. | Aberdeen, WA | $2,720,000.00 |
WHEREAS, all bids exceed the available budget; and
WHEREAS, staff recommends that all bids be rejected and that the design be revised to fit available budget and the engineer's estimate.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that all bids for the Parking Lot Upgrade Project be rejected due to exceedance of available budget; and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Capital Facilities Manger be directed to work with the designers and engineering consultants to revise the designs and specifications for this project to not exceed the available budget.
