CALL FOR BIDS: PUBLIC WORKS HVAC PROJECT
WHEREAS, Lewis County is renovating the building located at 57 W. Main St. in Chehalis to house the Public Works Department, and the HVAC system in the building is being replaced in said renovation; and
WHEREAS, County forces do not have the technical training to efficiently install said HVAC equipment as specified in the plans for the renovation; and
WHEREAS, the HVAC system is a critical component of an energy-efficient, safe and healthy work environment.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED the Board of County Commissioners (1) issues a call for bids to provide and install an HVAC system as specified in the plans prepared by KMB Architects and Hultz/BHU Engineers and (2) directs the Capital Facilities Manager to prepare such a Bid Call to solicit said work; and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED bids are due to the Clerk of the Board (351 N.W. North Street, Room 210, Chehalis, WA 98532) by 2 p.m. June 16, 2022.
