LIST THE BIDS RECEIVED AND NEWSPAPER SELECTED FOR LEWIS COUNTY LEGAL PRINTING FOR JULY 1, 2022, THROUGH JUNE 30, 2023
WHEREAS, the Lewis County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) issued a call for sealed bids for the printing of legal publications on Feb. 1, 2022; and
WHEREAS, the county received two bids; and
WHEREAS, bids from The Chronicle and The East County Journal were opened during an open public meeting on March 15, 2022; and
WHEREAS, the bids submitted were as follows:

* The East County Journal listed its bid amount as $5.00 per 1.20 column inch on one page and $5.91 per 1.20 column inch on another; and
WHEREAS, The Chronicle is the lowest qualified bidder per the bid specifications.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the BOCC that The Chronicle be named Lewis County's legal newspaper of record for the period beginning July 1, 2022, and ending June 30, 2023, at a cost of $4.10 per 1.20 column inch at 8-point type in conformance with the sample furnished with The Chronicle's bid.
