This resolution is to give notice of a public hearing on August 24, 2021 to assess project performance of the Vader Water System Condition Assessment project  funded with CDBG funding. 

A public hearing on project performance is required as part of the project closeout.

Resolution

WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 19-335, the Lewis County Board of County Commissioners approved and ratified a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Agreement No. 2019-62210-0 1929 for $24,000.00 to develop a Vader Water System Condition Assessment; and

WHEREAS, a public hearing to assess the project performance is required by the Washington Department of Commerce as part of the closeout and final payment process; and

WHEREAS, Lewis County is inviting public participation for the purpose of receiving testimony on the performance of the Community Development Block Grant used to develop a Vader Water System Condition Assessment.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that August 24, 2021, at or after the hour of 10:00 a.m., in the Commissioners Hearing Room on the 2nd floor of the Historical Courthouse in Chehalis, Washington, has been fixed by the Board as the time and place for the hearing for the purpose of receiving testimony on the performance of the Community Development Block Grant used to develop the Vader Water Condition Assessment. The Clerk of the Board is hereby instructed to proceed with all appropriate and necessary notifications, posting and publication as required by RCW 65.16.160.
