Summary:

This resolution will issue a call for bids for the Lincoln Creek Rd MP 13.7 Culvert Replacement Project, SM 20F100191370.

Bids for this proposal shall be submitted to the Clerk of the BOCC (351 N.W. North Street, Room 210, CMS-01, Chehalis, WA 98532) by or before 12:15 p.m. on Thursday, July 15, 2021, and will be opened on or after 12:15  p.m. on July 15, 2021, subject to official proposal addenda that establishes an alternate bid due date or opening time.

Resolution

WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) wishes to improve Lincoln Creek Rd MP 13.7 in Lewis County by clearing and grubbing, constructing a temporary traffic bypass road, removing existing culverts, installing a new 16-ft span precast concrete culvert, select borrow backfill, crushed surfacing base and top course, hot mix asphalt, shoulder finishing, traffic control, placing guardrail, streambed reconstruction, placing large woody debris, hydroseeding, planting mitigation, all in accordance with the Contract Plans, Contract Provisions, and the Standard Specifications; and

WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 11-437, construction projects exceeding a certain monetary threshold must be competitively bid; and

WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 20-103, the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) adopted the 2020 WSDOT Standard Specifications for Road, Bridge, and Municipal Construction and this proposal shall be performed by contract in accordance with the latest version of the WSDOT Standard Specifications.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Department of Public Works is instructed to issue a Call for Bids and Contract Specifications for Lincoln Creek Rd MP 13.7 Culvert Replacement Project, SM 20F100191370. Bids for this proposal shall be submitted to the Clerk of the BOCC (351 N.W. North Street, Room 210, CMS-01, Chehalis, WA 98532) by or before 12:15 p.m. on Thursday, July 15, 2021, and will be opened on or after 12:15 p.m. on July 15, 2021, subject to official proposal addenda that establishes an alternate bid due date or opening time.
