Summary:

Lewis County plans to replace a bridge on Townsend Road at milepost 0.22 It will be necessary to close Townsend Road to all through traffic during this period. Townsend Road will remain open for local access from either end up to, but not beyond, the point of closure. This resolution would, pursuant to RCW 47.48.010 and .020, close Townsend Road beginning at the Cinebar Road intersection to end of Townsend Road in Section 22, Township 13 North, Range 2 East, W.M. Beginning July 6, 2021 and ending October 29, 2021.

Resolution

WHEREAS, RCW 47.48.010 gives authority to the county legislative authority to close roads for a period of time; and

WHEREAS, it is necessary for Lewis County to replace a bridge on Townsend Road at milepost 0.22; and

WHEREAS, it will be necessary to close Townsend Road beginning at the Cinebar Road intersection to end of Townsend Road, to all through traffic during the period of such project work; and

WHEREAS, Townsend Road will remain open for local access up to, but not beyond, the point of closure and no residences are beyond the point of closure.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that, pursuant to RCW 47.48.010 and .020, beginning July 6, 2020, and ending October 29, 2021, Townsend Road beginning at the Cinebar Road intersection to end of Townsend Road in Section 22, Township 13 North, Range 2 East, W.M., shall be closed to all through traffic.
