WHEREAS, the Lewis County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) entered into a contract agreement with the Public Defenders on December 21, 2020, per Resolution 20-475; and

WHEREAS, there is a need to amend certain language in the contracts; and

WHEREAS, the BOCC has reviewed the amended Public Defender contracts; and

WHEREAS, it appears to be in the best public interest of Lewis County to approve the amended Lewis County Public Defender contracts.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the BOCC hereby approves the amended Lewis County Public Defender contracts.
