APPROVING A FIVE-YEAR AGREEMENT BETWEEN LEWIS COUNTY 911 COMMUNICATIONS AND EQUATURE TO PROVIDE TELEPHONE AND RADIO RECORDING EQUIPMENT, SOFTWARE, AND SUPPORT IN THE AMOUNT OF $81,020.00, AND AUTHORIZING THE 911 ADMINISTRATOR TO SIGN THE AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) of Lewis County, Washington, has reviewed the invoice with Equature to provide funds to provide a voice logging system upgrade to include software, hardware, and five years of support; and
WHEREAS, funding in the amount of $67,016 through the Washington State Military Department is provided for the period of July 1, 2020, through June 30, 2021, and Lewis County 911 Communications will utilize $14,004 of its fund balance to defray the remaining balance; and
WHEREAS, it appears to be in the best public interest to authorize the execution of said contract.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED this contract between Lewis County 911 Communications and Equature is hereby approved and the Administrator of Lewis County 911 Communications is authorized to sign the same.
