Resolution
THE EMERGENCY CLOSURE OF CERES HILL ROAD TO ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC
WHEREAS, RCW 47.48.020 gives the proper officer, without publication or delay, the authority to close roads in cases of emergency conditions; and
WHEREAS, Resolution 15-353 designates the County Engineer as the proper officer for authorizing emergency road closures; and
WHEREAS, a landslide has occurred below Ceres Hill Road; and
WHEREAS, to facilitate the investigation of the impacts on the stability of the road and make any necessary repairs it will be necessary to close Ceres Hill Road to all traffic from MP 3.77 to MP 4.16.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that, pursuant to RCW 47.48.020, beginning March 29, 2021, through June 28, 2021, Ceres Hill Road described above in Section 13, Township 13 North, Range 4 West W.M. shall be closed to all traffic.
