APPROVING A CONTRACT TO PROVIDE ELEVATOR MAINTENANCE SERVICES
WHEREAS, numerous elevators are in operation in buildings throughout the County Courthouse Campus; and
WHEREAS, said elevators require regular service and testing to ensure safe operations and compliance with regulations; and
WHEREAS, Lewis County Facilities has solicited Sourcewell Purchasing Coorperative (formerly NJPA Alliance) to assist in the aquisition of these services, as permitted by RCW 39.34 and 39.26.060; and
WHEREAS, Thyssen-Krupp Elevator Corporation has provided the lowest bid to provide these services.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED a contract for Elevator Maintenance Services be awarded to Thyssen-Krupp Elevator Corporation; and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Central Services be authorized to sign said contract on behalf of the Board of County Commissioners.
