RESOLUTION TO APPROVE A STATE MANDATED SALARY
ADJUSTMENT FOR THE PROSECUTOR
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners set the salary for the Prosecuting Attorney; and
WHEREAS, the State of Washington contributes independently to the Prosecuting Attorney’s salary; and
WHEREAS, the state has increased its contribution to the Prosecutors salary during the 2019 calendar year; and
WHEREAS, the total annual increase has a budget impact of $18,414 of which the County's share will be $9,207 .
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Prosecutor’s salary will be adjusted to reflect the increase by the state effective July 1, 2019. .
